If you recall, a couple weeks ago we had a post on here about the story of Reid Kimball. Reid is raising funds for a documentary to spread awareness that there are quality alternative treatments to Irritable Bowl Disease. His website is here http://crohnsend.com/ and you can support his project on Kickstarter HERE.
Like many of us he didn't have much success with typical medical treatments and sought more natural solutions. Turns out it has worked well for him and many others. What better way to share these stories than through film.
I love this project for two reasons.
First, it will make many people aware of their need to educate themselves on their disease and alternative treatments. In my opinion, the number one roadblock to health for many people is their belief that they cannot change their current situation. They feel helpless. The stories in here will go a long way to find hope in another's journey.
Second, there are not many other ways better than film to tell a story. Real people with real stories of change and success in their disease will spread awareness that there are other roads to health. Reading can be moving but nothing like watching it unfold before your own eyes.
How To Help
With one day left he is at $10,440 of his $10,550 goal for funding the documentary. If he doesn't reach his goal then we won't get any of the funding. And if he goes over then there is extra funds to make the documentary even better.
